Garden State Mastiff Rescue is in mourning. We lost one of our founders, Charles Fainsbert, Monday May 23rd. It is with terrible sadness that we post this. ”Chuck” and his wife Lucie have been rescuing Mastiffs for close to twenty years. It was a shock. Any donations to GSMR will be used to help set up a new foundation. The Charles Fainsbert Foundation will be created to help Mastiffs in need anywhere. Stay tuned for details.

Welcome to the home of Garden State Mastiff Rescue. We rescue and place Mastiffs (also known as English Mastiffs) throughout New Jersey and the neighboring areas of New York and Pennsylvania.
GSMR is a 501 (c)3 public charity. We function only through the generosity of people who have a love of the Mastiff Breed. The average cost to rehabilitate one of these gentle giants is $600. We ask for a $500 donation upon adoption. Because of this we rely heavily on donations in order to properly care for these lost souls. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to our cause.
